There’s no stopping Chinese tech brand HUAWEI from innovating. Now, the company has released a unique pair of earphones, the HUAWEI FreeClip.
The HUAWEI FreeClip features a unique “C-bridge Design” as the company calls it. The earbuds clips on the inside and back of your ear to wear it. The spherical shape and the shiny colorways — Purple and Black — provide a stylish look.

HUAWEI claims that it is also ergonomic. Each earbud only weighs 5.6g, and the open-ear design lets your ear breathe so you can comfortably wear it for hours. Plus, the TPU material reduces staining and smudging.
Plus, the earbuds are interchangeable. The left and right audio channels are also self-adaptive so you can wear it with either side and still get the right stereo separation.

The main module holds the large 10.8mm dual-magnet high-sensitivity drivers, a microphone for calls, and a VPU mic, while the one behind your ears has the windproof mic and the batteries. The two modules are connected by the C-bridge made out of Ni-Ti shape-memory alloy.
It is also IP54 sweat and water-resistant. Voice calls are improved by HUAWEI’s AI Crystal-Clear Call technology with a multi-channel deep neural network (DNN) algorithm.

Despite the open-ear design, HUAWEI claims that sound leakage was kept at a minimum thanks to its special reverse sound waves system.
Each earbud can last for up to 8 hours on a single charge with a total of 36 hours with the USB-C charging case. A quick 10-minute charge can already last you three hours.

Gesture controls are also supported: Double-tap to play/pause audio or answer/end calls and triple-tap to skip tracks.
The HUAWEI FreeClip has a price of EUR179.99 (~Php10,900). Release details in the Philippines have not been announced.
