JBL Philippines has entered the audio glasses market with the first JBL Soundgear Frames.
The JBL Soundgear Frames is a stylish pair of eyeglasses with built-in speakers for listening to music. It’s available in two designs: the Soundgear Frames Square and Frames Round. It protects your eyes from UVA and UVB or, swap the lenses to prescription ones.
There are two 25mm x 9mm speaker drivers on each temple that has JBL OpenSound Technology, which provides open-sound audio so you can stay aware with your surroundings
Perfect for office use or for outdoor workouts, it is also IP54 dust and splash-resistant for durability.
JBL has also included built-in speakers for crystal-clear, hands-free calls. The JBL logos on each side are touch-sensitive that let you answer/drop incoming calls, summon voice assistants, control music and volume, and more.
The battery capacity can last up to 8 hours on a single charge via USB-C. The USB-C cable comes with two ends, as you’d be charging the batteries on each temple separately.
You can then customize the equalization or pick from any of the six presets via the JBL Headphone app available on both the Google Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for iPhones and iPads.
The JBL Soundgear Frames is available in JBL Stores and retailers both online and offline in the Philippines. It has an SRP of Php9,499.
