Sony has dropped three new additions to its ULT POWER SOUND speaker range, aimed at party hosts, DJs, and karaoke lovers who want their music to hit hard.
The flagship Sony ULT TOWER MAX is the most powerful of the bunch, pushing up to 2,150 watts. It has three woofers and a 360-degree sound system that fills the room from any angle. On the other hand, the mid-range ULT TOWER 7 offers up to 420 watts, while the compact ULT TOWER 5 delivers 300 watts. Both the MAX and TOWER 7 feature 360-degree audio.
Sony teamed up with hip-hop producers and artists including Dot Da Genius and Daru Jones to fine-tune the sound. Their input helped shape the bass response and vocal clarity across all three models.

All speakers include the ULT button, which lets users switch between four sound modes. ULT1 gives you extra deep bass, ULT2 cranks things up even further, FLAT keeps the audio true to the original recording, and LIVE adds a concert-like spaciousness.
The new speakers are built for flexibility. You can connect through XLR, RCA, or USB-C ports, making them compatible with DJ gear. There is also a Party Chain function that links multiple Sony speakers together using Auracast technology to sync both music and lighting. Karaoke fans can plug in Sony’s optional microphone for a better singing experience.
Lighting effects are also part of the package. The speakers offer BEAT mode that flashes lights to the rhythm, WAVE for ambient effects, and MELLOW for slower, calmer patterns.

Portability is among this speaker line’s strengths. The larger models come with improved wheels and comfortable carry handles. The ULT TOWER 7 and ULT TOWER 5 have an IPX4 splash-proof rating, so they can handle outdoor use. Battery life reaches up to 30 hours for the TOWER 7 and 20 hours for the TOWER 5.
Sony has also signed on as the official wireless speaker partner for Red Bull Dance Your Style 2026. The company will support events including the US National Final in September and the World Final in Switzerland in October.
In terms of sustainability, the ULT TOWER MAX uses about 35 percent recycled plastic, while the TOWER 7 and TOWER 5 each contain around 20 percent recycled materials.

Prices are set at Php88,889 for the ULT TOWER MAX, Php38,889 for the ULT TOWER 7, and Php22,229 for the ULT TOWER 5. They are now available at Sony stores and authorized dealers across the Philippines.
