The new realme GT 6 comes with high-end specs that aim to be a more practical alternative to proper flagship phones in the market. But how does it fair with its actual competitors?

Check out the also-new POCO F6. This one from Xiaomi is also made for those who want a flagship experience, without having to pay a boatload of money.

If specs and specs alone are what we’re be talking about, the realme GT 6 clearly won this comparison. It has a brighter display, sturdier glass, better cameras, and a bigger battery with ultra-fast charging. And while they look slightly similar to each other, there’s no doubt that the realme GT 6 is the more premium smartphone.

But if we’re discussing the overall value and practicality, the POCO F6 definitely has the edge. As you can see, it is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a fresh new chip that was designed to power sub-flagship chips like the GT 6 and F6. While the base model only comes with 8GB RAM, the F6 also has a more expensive 12GB RAM + 512GB storage version. And even if it’s cheaper, most consumers will probably be satisfied enough with the F6’s good display, cameras, battery, charging, and speakers.
So, which smartphone should you buy? Well, it depends on your needs. If fast performance is all you need, you can just get the more affordable POCO F6 and save some money. But if you’re looking for better cameras and other more premium features, the realme GT 6 is a good option, too.
