PC parts and peripherals manufacturer Colorful Technology has entered the mini PC market with its latest product launch. The new CMNH01-12450 is powered by the efficient 12th generation Intel processor, the Core i5-12450H processor.
Based on the Alder Lake-H45 architecture, the Core i5-12450 features 16 threads and eight cores. Half of these cores are designed for performance with a maximum boost clock of 4.4GHz, whereas the remaining half is meant for efficiency with max turbo frequency of 3.3GHz.
The Colorful CMNH01-12450 is marketed to both home and business environments, boasting a compact chassis design (measuring 129mm x 127mm x 54mm) that is ideal for places with limited space. Though small, the mini PC comes packing with robust features such as a 2.5GbE LAN port for fast connectivity, up to 64GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM for productivity and multitasking, and PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs via the M.2 2280 slot for expansive storage. Windows 11 Home or Pro 64-bit comes preinstalled.

As for graphics, the CMNH01-12450 has an Intel Iris Xe Graphics onboard. There’s one HDMI port and one DisplayPort, both of which support 4K display resolution and the latter capable of up to 120Hz refresh rate. Other connectivity options include four USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C, audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. A silent turbo fan provides active cooling.

Exact specifications may vary on region where the Colorful CMNH01-12450 will be sold. No price for the mini PC has been announced yet, but the company intends to sell it to consumers by May 2024.
