Microsoft has created a new device called the Windows 365 Link. This miniature PC’s only goal is to connect you to the cloud where you can stream a full version of Windows 11.
The Windows 365 Link is so small it doesn’t even have a fan. What it has is an unnamed Intel processor, with 8GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and WiFi 6E connectivity. That should be enough since you’d be accessing the full version of Windows 11 through the cloud, anyway.
It also has a DisplayPort, HDMI, ethernet, two USB-A 3.2, and one USB-C 3.2 so you can connect your peripherals like monitors, keyboard, mouse, and more. Bluetooth 5.3 is also onboard for wireless accessories.
The machine is said to be an ideal companion to the Windows 365 service that allows businesses to transition employees over to virtual machines present in the cloud and can be easily and securely streamed to multiple devices.
It is said to be incredibly secure, utilizing the tech used on Windows and Xbox consoles that protected them from hackers. Microsoft also said it offers simplified IT management and can be configured within minutes and managed alongside other PCs using Microsoft Intune.
The Windows 365 Link is available in the United States at a price of USD349 (~Php20,600).
