Working professionals in the Philippines and the rest of the world have reported that their Microsoft-powered computers are experiencing the infamous Blue Screen of Death error.
For those seeing it for the first time on their machines, the Blue Screen of Death is caused by a fatal system error on Windows PCs, whether it’s a laptop, desktop, etc.

A lot of Windows PC users, especially working professionals, have first reported the issue. Some were furious about the crash, while some — due to the timing of the problem — celebrated as they were able to start their weekend early.
Obviously, not everyone is happy about it, as it also disrupted the operations of airlines, causing flight delays. It has also affected banks, telcos, radio and TV broadcasts, and even supermarkets due to crashed POS systems.
Early reports suggest that the issue is rooted in the latest upgrade from CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity firm known for its endpoint protection software.
The firms said that their engineer is currently in the process of fixing the problem. Rebooting the Windows PC in Safe Mode appears to have fixed the problem to some, but not everyone.
More details about the problem shall be released soon.
