Xiaomi is penetrating the gaming scene further with the release of a new ultra-fast display.
The Xiaomi 24.5-inch 240Hz LCD gaming monitor was launched in China a year after the enormous 144Hz 35-inch Curved Monitor came out.
This one has an FHD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels, 16.7 million colors, and a 178-degree viewing angle. Plus, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400-nits peak brightness, and the standard 16:9 aspect ratio for better gaming and entertainment viewing.
Speaking of gaming, this monitor is all about speed. It has a 240Hz refresh rate for smooth movements and a 1ms GTG response time for shooter games.
Other features include AMD FreeSync Premium, DC dimming, and VESA DisplayHDR 400. It also comes with DCI-P3 color coverage and ΔE<1 color accuracy. Like a lot of displays, it has TUV Rheinland and SGS certification for blue light protection.
For inputs, it comes with 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI 2.1, a 3.5 headphone jack, and DC in for power.
As for the body itself, it comes with air vents for better thermals, thin bezels, a hole on the stand for cable management, and a magnetic cover to hide the ports.
The Xiaomi 240Hz 24.5-inch FHD monitor retails for CNY1,599 (around Php12,600) and comes with 3 years of warranty. It’s now up for pre-order in China while release details in other markets are yet to be announced.
