Anthem-System-Requirements

Anthem, one of the most anticipated games this year, recently had it’s PC system requirements revealed.

For those unaware, Anthem was built using the Frostbite 3.0 Engine. It’s the same engine that brought Battlefield V and FIFA 19 to life. So expect the minimum requirements of the game to be a little steep, but still achievable.

Anthem System Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD FX-6350
  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
  • OS: Windows 10 64 bit
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760, AMD Radeon 7970 / R9280X
  • FREE DISK SPACE: 50 GB

Recommended Requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB System Memory
  • OS: Windows 10 64 bit
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060, RTX 2060 / AMD RX 480
  • FREE DISK SPACE: 50 GB

Judging from the minimum PC requirements, I can say that it can be played by most PC gamers. To put things in perspective, the minimum system requirements for Anthem are just under the recommended requirements for Battlefield V.

Also, the game is confirmed to have no offline mode. You can play the game alone but you’ll need to be connected online. So if you’re an offline kind of gamer, this might not be the game for you.

Although that information was already released last year, some might’ve missed the news and a small part of me wanted a last minute announcement of an offline mode.

EA’s futuristic third-person shooting game, which resemble other popular games like Destiny and Warframe, is set to be released on February 22, 2019 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
