Fans of the hit fishing and restaurant sim can soon take the adventure on the go. The game’s developer, MINTROCKET, confirmed that Dave the Diver will officially land on the App Store and Google Play on September 17, 2026.

Instead of a subscription or a free-to-play model with ads, the mobile port uses a try-before-you-buy system. You can download the app and play the beginning of the story at no cost. If you enjoy it, you can pay a flat fee of $4.99 to unlock the rest of the game. The developer has promised that this one-time purchase covers the full experience, with no hidden costs for cosmetics, extra lives, or in-game currency.

The team has worked to make the controls feel natural on a touchscreen. You will be able to adjust the button layout to fit your hands, and there is even a neat feature that uses your phone’s motion sensors to pour tea in the sushi shop. A fast-travel option has also been added to help you get around the underwater map more quickly.

For those who buy the full game, the studio is including some bonus content for free, like the digital art book and soundtrack, which are usually paid extras. Several major DLC packs, such as the “In the Jungle” expansion and the DREDGE crossover, will also be available right at launch.

Pre-orders are open now on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The full game unlocks on September 17, 2026, and costs $4.99 (~Php300) after the free trial. If you secure your pre-order, the game will automatically download to your device as soon as it becomes available.
