After the long wait, Fall Guys finally arrived on mobile devices alongside the new Epic Games Store.
While Android and iOS users have long been waiting for the hit game to launch on their platforms, Epic Games might have waited for too long.
But it isn’t all about Fall Guys for Epic. The company is fighting Google and Apple on their app store monopolies, and the launch of Epic Games Store on mobile is another testament to its commitment to penetrate the mobile market.
With the announcement, Epic also called out Google and Apple for the “lengthy” process of installation needed for Android and iOS. The developer said that it includes plenty of steps with scare screens that discourages users to install software from third-party sources.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to install the new Epic Games Store on mobile.
Even though the app and games selection are currently limited, Epic says that its mobile store will eventually include software made by other developers. Right now, the store features Rocket League Sideswipe and Fortnite alongside Fall Guys mobile.
Fall Guys on Android and iOS is almost the same the PC and console version, with cross-play enabled when you log-in via Epic Games. Currently, the only thing missing is the Creative Editor. Levels made using other platforms are still playable, though.
