Garena Free City has officially started its pre-registration on Android and iOS devices.
The new open-world adventure game, developed and published by Garena, is a multiplayer role-playing game that offers an immersive gaming experience. In the Free City, players can compete to control districts through street battles and engage in character-driven storylines.
After its soft launch in Argentina last December, it’s now opening its doors to players from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa to pre-register on the App Store, Google Play, and freecity.garena.com.
In addition to the opportunity for early access to the game, those who pre-register may also win exclusive in-game rewards, including the Marauder Hyena sports car.
The Garena Free City video trailer also shows some gaming aspects, which are kind of reminiscent of GTA’s open world. Aside from multiplayer PvP and PvE modes, you can also play thrilling missions involving stealth, assassination, undercover operations, car modification, and races.

Players begin as part of an elite squad, carrying out high-stakes missions against rivals and collaborating with companions as they traverse the city. Some key game features include:
- Open-world adventure – explore the expansive world of Free City. You can travel around on foot or glide through the city using a drone, hunt for mystery boxes with talent points, take on district and stronghold challenges, explore profession options for extra cash, or uncover stories behind NPCs.
- Ultimate customization – you can customize and personalize your experience, like changing character design appearances and outfits and customizing weapon skins and vehicles. You may create up to four unique characters per account and live in different persons and story arcs.
- Diverse game modes – you can enjoy a variety of social interactions with other players, NPCs, or by yourself. You can enjoy Player vs. Player (PvP) and Player vs. Environment (PvE), including team and solo deathmatch, arms race, and cash grab arena. There are also casual game options for a lighter mode, like obstacle-filled entertainment challenges or bomb royale. As well as racing games on competitive tracks.
- Socially engaging gameplay – you can also play with other players through Garena Free City’s in-game world channel to form alliances with fellow players on the same server and complete community challenges. You can also create or join squads to unlock exclusive missions.
Garena Free City will launch globally later this year and will be available in multiple languages, including English and Tagalog.
