GG COMPANY, Inc. has officially unveiled GG Truck, the first pop-up gaming truck in Southeast Asia. The company has shown private demos to interested investors and potential event customers.

Through the use of interactive and inclusive gaming experiences, GG Truck aims to gamify over 42,000 barangays in the Philippines. According to the President of GG Company, Ron Castro, brands will be able to cater to Millennials and Gen Z by offering them engaging gaming experiences.

Mobile gaming has become the biggest catalyst for growth in the gaming industry. Recent research by Newzoo found out that 3 out of 4 Filipinos online often play mobile games. Furthermore, Hootsuite reports that 9 out of 10 smartphone owners also play on their devices. 

GG Truck will enable brands to host gamified on-ground events and then broadcast those online for an even wider reach. The gaming truck has an LED screen measuring 10ft x 6ft, sound system, and a pop-up stage to enhance the gaming experience. 100+ exclusive casual games are also available on the platform.

In addition, the truck offers free Wi-Fi with 300 up to 500 meters in range so that players can interact with each other on a tournament platform. Unless there is anything structurally interfering with the connection, gamers can even play connect from the comfort of their own homes.

In terms of safety, the company says they coordinate with local government units (LGU) and follow the health protocols set by the Department of Health (DOH) and Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF). There will be frequent sanitation during events, and participants will be required to wear face shields and face masks. In addition, employees will undergo mandatory swab testing before events.
