HP’s Omen 15 gaming laptop is getting a refresh for the year 2020, offering improved specs and a new design. For the first time in the series, the Omen 15 allows customers to choose AMD as the processor.
The HP Omen 15 2020 offers several configurations when you buy it at the company online store. Per the company press release, you can choose a processor up to the Intel Core i7-10750H or, if you want AMD, up to the Ryzen 7 4800H. For GPUs, the best configuration available is NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max Q (8 GB).
Storage and RAM can be as large as 1 TB (NVMe M.2 SSD) and 32 GB (DDR4-2933), respectively. For the 15.6-inch IPS display, resolution starts at the standard Full HD and up to 2160p, with available frame rate configuration going as high as 300Hz.
In terms of design, HP claims that the latest Omen 15 iteration has the smallest footprint in the series with 11% thinner chassis than the previous model, making it more portable than ever. The laptop ditches its old logo in favor of a new, elegant diamond logo.
Price for the HP Omen 15 (2020) begins at $999 (~Php52,000).
