We won’t be surprised if you decide to leave Facebook considering how toxic and problematic the platform has been in the last couple of years.

But don’t just delete your account without a plan. In years to come, you might want to look back on old memories through photos or videos and realize your only copy was gone forever with your Facebook account.

Don’t worry, backing up all your photos and videos on Facebook is really easy. It can be done in under 5 minutes — no need to manually download files one by one. Here’s how.

What do I need to backup photos and videos from Facebook?

The back-up method we’ll show you requires that you have a Dropbox account. All the files will be transferred there, so make sure you already have an account.

In case you don’t have one, here’s another method using Google Photos.
