Acer released the 2022 model of the Chromebook Spin 513.

Weather or not the latest chipset has worse or better performance than last year’s Snapdragon 7c chipset is yet to be determined. However, one thing is clear, the battery life is shorter. It can now only last for 10 hours on a full charge, while its predecessor got 13.5 hours of screen-on time.

It then has a tall 3:2 aspect ratio touchscreen, better for work, school, or reading content. It’s a 13.5-inch panel with a 2256 x 1504 pixel resolution. The screen is paired with a 360-degree hinge to hide its keyboard if you want to use it as a tablet.

Other notable features include a MIL-STD 810H military-grade build, WiFi 6, backlit keyboard, USB Type-C input, DTS audio with up-ward facing speakers, and microphones for video calls.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 2022 has a starting price of USD599.99 (around Php30,800) and will be available in North America come June 2022.
