Besides the new Zenbook models and the ROG Phone 8 Series, the 2024 ASUS & ROG Launch Event last week unveiled the arrival of two ROG Zephyrus gaming laptops for the Philippine market.
The 2024 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, an advanced laptop designed for gaming and creative tasks, features a 4GHz AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor with eight cores and 16 threads. It is also equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5X 6400 RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4 NVMe M.2 SSD. Its 14-inch display has a 3K (2880×1800) resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate.
For a bigger screen real estate, the 2024 ROG Zephyrus G16 has a 16-inch display with a faster 240Hz refresh rate albeit with a lower resolution at 2.5K (2560×1600 WQXGA). It has the same type and amount of RAM as the G14 but at a higher frequency. SSD storage can go as high as 2TB. The processor inside is Intel Core Ultra 7 (155H) or 9 (185H) with a neural processing unit that supports Intel’s AI Boost.

Both the glossy displays of the Zephyrus G14 and G16 are OLED panels with G-SYNC, offering enhanced gaming visuals and smoother play. The tech essentially synchronizes the display’s refresh rate with the GPU’s frame output, eliminating screen tearing and reducing latency.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 starting model, the GA403UV-QS091W, has an official price of Php129,995 and comes equipped with the RTX 4060 graphics. More expensive models are available at Php159,995 with RTX 4070 graphics onboard. Meanwhile, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 starts at Php179,995 with RTX 4070 graphics, but models priced at Php249,995 are also available with RTX 4080 graphics.

All ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 models come with Windows 11 and Office Home & Student preinstalled. Depending on the model, freebies include a backpack, a gaming mouse, and a USB-C PD adapter.
