Are you in the market for a really cheap laptop for work or school? Check out the new Spirit 1 from Itel.
Clearly made for video conferencing, the Itel Spirit 1 claims to have a 360-degree sound reception and up to 5 meters of “voice interaction” via its built-in microphones. It also has a 200hz~12.5KHz frequency range and has around 76dB of loudness from its stereo speakers. The 2-megapixel camera sits on the thick bezel on top.
It then has a roomy 15.6-inch display with an apt FHD pixel resolution. This should give you more than enough room for multitasking and other tasks.
Under the hood, it’s powered by a slightly outdated Intel Core i38109U CPU that comes with 2 cores, 4 threads, and 3.6GHz clock speeds.
As standard with most laptops, it ships with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of fast SSD storage, and will run on Windows 11 OS out of the box. If those aren’t enough, there are accessible slots on the machine that lets you expand the memory up to 32GB and the storage up to 2TB.
The laptop then has a 51Wh battery that can apparently last for more than 8 hours and charges via the traditional DC-In jack.
It may not be a fancy machine, but it has more ports than your usual high-end laptop. It has three USB Type-A inputs, one microSD card reader, headphone jack, Kensington lock, HDMI, and even VGA and RJ-45 ethernet. Sadly, we don’t see USB Type-C.
The Itel Spirit 1 is now available on the brand’s official Lazada store for a price of only Php22,499.
