Lenovo has launched a new gaming laptop, the Legion R9000P 2023, in China. The notebook is the successor to last year’s Legion R9000P and boasts the latest AMD Ryzen SoC processor.
The Legion R9000P notebook has 16-inch display with a 2560-by-1600 pixel resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, 10-bit color depth, and brightness level up to 500 nits. The display also supports HDR 400, Nvidia G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync Premium.
The notebook comes equipped with CPU and graphics for decent gaming performance. Under the hood are an AMD Ryzen R7-7745HX processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, along with 16GB DDR5 5200 RAM and 1TB solid-state drive storage. As for charging, the notebook offers a powerful 80Wh battery and 300W adapter with support for 140W Type-C fast charging and 100W PD fast charging.

Another highlight of the Lenovo Legion R9000P is its heat management. Ensuring the internal hardware is running smoothly without overheating is the Frost Blade Pro 5.0 cooling system, composed of composite heat pipes, a Blade Falcon fan, and multi-zone ventilation subsystem.
Other specs of the Lenovo Legion R9000P 2023 gaming laptop include the Nahimic surround sound, Legion TrueStrike keyboard, Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C. Windows 11 comes preinstalled with Microsoft Office.
The starting price of the Lenovo Legion R9000P 2023 is 7,999 yuan (approx. ₱65,000), which makes it a good option for a mid-range gaming notebook.
