New versions of the RedmiBook Pro 15 and 14 models with Ryzen APUs has been announced.

First, we have the RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen powered by a Ryzen 5 5600H or Ryzen 5800H. Both models have 35W TDP based on the new Zen 3 core architecture and come with integrated Radeon 7 and 8, respectively.

This one has a 15.6-inch screen with a 3,200 x 2,000-pixel resolution, DC dimming, 100% sRGB coverage, 300-nits peak brightness, 1,500:1 contrast ratio, and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

It then comes with a 70WHr battery with 100W fast charging support that can last for 14 hours of web browsing. It weighs 1.8kg.

On the other hand, the RedmiBook Pro 13 can be purchased with a Ryzen 5 5500U or Ryzen 7 5700U that are based on Zen 2 architecture. Unlike the former, it lacks APU.

Being the smaller model, it’s lighter at 1.42kg and has a smaller 56Wh battery with slower 65W charging. On the upside, Xiaomi claims it has the same 14-hour battery life.

Both models are built around a CNC-machined aluminum material. They also have a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner, a single full-sized USB Type-A, two USB Type-C ports, HDMI, headphone jack, and the latest WiFi 6 standard.

The RedmiBook Pro 14 Ryzen 5500U model retails for CNY4,299 (around Php33,400), while the 5700U variant is at CNY4,699 (around Php35,400). Meanwhile, the RedmiBook Pro 15 5600H is at CNY4,799 (around Php36,100), while the 5800H is at CNY5,299 (around Php39,900). All variants come with 16GB dual-channel DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD and are now available in China.
