New versions of the RedmiBook Pro 15 and 14 models with Ryzen APUs has been announced.
First, we have the RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen powered by a Ryzen 5 5600H or Ryzen 5800H. Both models have 35W TDP based on the new Zen 3 core architecture and come with integrated Radeon 7 and 8, respectively.
This one has a 15.6-inch screen with a 3,200 x 2,000-pixel resolution, DC dimming, 100% sRGB coverage, 300-nits peak brightness, 1,500:1 contrast ratio, and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.
It then comes with a 70WHr battery with 100W fast charging support that can last for 14 hours of web browsing. It weighs 1.8kg.
On the other hand, the RedmiBook Pro 13 can be purchased with a Ryzen 5 5500U or Ryzen 7 5700U that are based on Zen 2 architecture. Unlike the former, it lacks APU.
Being the smaller model, it’s lighter at 1.42kg and has a smaller 56Wh battery with slower 65W charging. On the upside, Xiaomi claims it has the same 14-hour battery life.
Both models are built around a CNC-machined aluminum material. They also have a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner, a single full-sized USB Type-A, two USB Type-C ports, HDMI, headphone jack, and the latest WiFi 6 standard.
