OPPO has officially announced the newest addition to the popular A series in the Philippines. Meet the new OPPO A98 5G.
The OPPO A98 5G is a midrange smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. For those who need more memory, it also supports virtual RAM expansion of up to 8GB more.
In terms of cameras, the OPPO A98 5G is equipped with a 64-megapixel main sensor with 2-megapixel depth, and 40x micro lens. There’s also a 32-megapixel shooter in front for selfies. It also comes with the usual AI-powered features like Portrait mode, Night mode, Selfie HDR, and more.
A 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate is also here, covered by Panda tempered glass. To power the phone, it features a massive 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging technology.

The OPPO A98 5G is now available in the Philippines for a price of Php18,999. Those who will pre-order starting today until September 21, 2023 will get a free pair of wireless earbuds as a freebie. It can also be availed via Home Credit, or 0% installment for 6 and 12 months on all major credit cards in the country.
