Starmobile Navi: 4-inch display, quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 5MP main camera, dual-SIM, Php4,690

While a lot of attention was mainly focused on Starmobile’s flagship Muse smartphone, the company also unveiled other Android devices to target different markets. The Starmobile Navi, for instance, is more budget-friendly at Php4,690, offering a quad-core CPU, 4-inch display, and 1GB RAM.

Note that instead of GPS, the Starmobile Navi makes use of GLONASS, an alternate navigational system developed Russia. It’s not known if both GPS and GLONASS are both used in the device as done with the newer versions of the iPhone.

The handset also differs from other budget dual-SIM phones by having 3G connectivity for both its SIM modules, not just one. Like with Muse, the Navi also comes bundled with Starmobile Sync for easy import of contacts, text messages, and calendar events from an older Starmobile smartphone via Bluetooth.

With a suggested retail price of Php4,690, the StarMobile Navi can now be bought in Starmobile kiosks and accredited dealers across the Philippines.
