Starmobile has announced a new smartphone just in time for the holiday season—the new Up Ultra. The phone’s specs are already decent enough for its price, but Starmobile has also added free LTE data services worth Php4,000 to entice more users.
Powered by Smart’s LTE network, the Php4,000 Super Pack allows the Starmobile Up Ultra user to enjoy 700MB of data (every month for one year) every time he tops up his phone with at least Php150 per month. This monthly data allowance can be used for anything, such as apps and Web browsing. In addition, the user gets to enjoy a free iFlix subscription for six months.
The Starmobile Up Ultra is a 5.5-inch smartphone that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek processor and features an IPS display, Mali graphics and 2GB of RAM. This phone is 4G capable and can deliver download speeds of up to 150Mbps through Smart’s LTE network.
