The GMA Affordabox has finally hit the market as the network’s take on the popular DTV set-top box market.
Devices like the GMA Affordabox will allow the Filipino masses to gain access to crystal clear channels, weather they’re using an old or new television. They can also watch movies through the USB port, record favorite GMA shows, and more. You can check its key features here.

But what channels can you access in the GMA Affordabox? Are the channels on the TVPlus accessible on the Affordabox? Plus, does your location support GMA’s set-top box? Bear in mind that the availability of these channels vary depending on your location.
Take note that after the extensive cease and desist order imposed to ABS-CBN, it’s currently not accessible on the GMA Affordabox. But if things go back to normal, expect to see free ABS-CBN channels on the Affordabox, but not the TVPlus-exclusive channels like KBO, MYX, etc.

The GMA main channel, GMA News TV (GNTV), and the Heart of Asia are GMA’s native channels that allow you to record shows on the Affordabox. There are reports circulating that the TV network will be launching dedicated channels for cartoons, anime, and action movies soon as exclusive channels only available to the GMA Affordabox.

Sana po mapapasama ang cotabato city sa lalagyan nyo ng frequencies. Maraming taga cotabato sng tumatangkilik sa mga palabas nyo.
Sana makasama sa coverage nila ang Subic Zambales dahil balita ko ayaw payagan ng cable network makapasok d2 ganyan. Mas kelangan nmin ng ganyan kesa sa mga cable network.

Hoping to make it available sa mga malalayong province like mine in Banton, Romblon. Kasi mostly antennas pa gamit ng mga tao doon. Mas convenient sana at karamihan sa mga oldies like nanay ko ay GMA yung kinalakihang channel. Matutuwa yun for sure. 🙂
