ASUS Republic of Gamers announced the Philippine launch date of its latest handheld console, the ROG Xbox Ally series.
The series consists of the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X, which run on a custom version of Windows 11 and support games from Xbox, Microsoft Store, Steam, Battle.net, and Epic Games. Oh, and since it runs on Windows, you can do classic Windows stuff like multi-window multitasking.
With the Xbox Ally, you’re getting an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 A processor, with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB of M.2 storage. The Xbox Ally X is a more powerful Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip, with 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB M.2 SSD.
The X model also has a bigger 80Wh battery, while the latter has 60Wh. Both have 65W USB-C charging. They also share the same 7-inch FHD IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium.

Select markets can now pre-order the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally for EUR499 (~Php34,100), while the ROG Ally X retails at EUR799 (~Php34,100). They will then make their grand launch in the Philippines via a Facebook livestream this October 7, 2025, at 3 PM.
