Canon just announced its most affordable EOS R camera, the all-new Canon EOS R100.

The Canon EOS R100 has a humble and aging 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor paired with a DIGIC 8 processor. It comes with the brand’s Dual Pixel autofocus with 143 AF zones and face detection and can do up to 6.5fps burst capture.

It then has an OLED EVG with a 2.36M dot resolution and a 3-inch LCD display at 1.04M dot with no touch function and no articulation. It accepts UHS-I SD cards.

The EOS R100 works with EOS R lenses. You can get it with different kit options like an RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF-S55-210mm F5-7.1 IS STM.

Select markets can get the new Canon EOS R100 this July with a starting price of USD479 (~Php26,800) for the body and USD599 (~Php33,500) for the kit lens. It’s also confirmed to arrive in the Philippines, but the official local prices are yet to be announced.
