The latest addition to the Sony Cinema Line, the Sony FX2, is now in the Philippines. It’s a pro-grade camera made for filmmakers and advanced creators.
Borrowing the likeness of the FX3 and FX30, the layout and size of the Sony FX2 will be very familiar to long-time users of the series. It’s designed for easy solo shooting with its compact and lightweight build, multiple mounting points, fast AI-based AF, AI-based automatic framing, and Active Mode stabilization.

You can spice it up even further by attaching accessories like an XLR Handle or external displays with its HDMI Type-A port that supports 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit or 16-bit RAW output.
The FX2 accepts two CFexpress Type A memory cards and a high-capacity NP-FZ100 battery that offers up to a total of 100 minutes of video recording or 155 minutes of continuous shooting.

It boasts a 35mm full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor with a 34.1-megapixel sensor, 15+ stops (S-Log3), and a color temperature range of 2500K – 9900K. It accepts E-mount lenses.
The FX2 offers three Log modes: Flexible ISO, Cine EI, and Cine EI Quick. There are multiple movie recording settings available, which go up to a full 4K resolution with 3840 x 2160 pixels and 4K 60p in Super 35mm mode. 10-bit depth and 4:2:2 colour sampling are also available.
Users can import up to 16 LUTs. Picture Profiles are also available like the popular S-Cinetone.
Made for cinematographers, it boasts a tiltable OLED viewfinder with 3.68 million dots and 0.70x magnification. A 3-inch TFT touch display is also included.
