DJI launched a new drone today made for fast-paced shooting and FPV enthusiasts. Check out the new DJI Avata and its official price in the Philippines.
The DJI Avata FPV is a compact and lightweight drone that’s meant to be agile while also being tough. It comes with built-in propeller guards so it would just bounce back and continue flying when it hits a wall or any object.

It also has a, Turtle Mode, so when it falls on its back, you only have to do a few taps on the controller and it will be back in action.
For better controls, the company also launched the DJI Goggles 2, which is now lighter, smaller, and boasts micro-OLED screens for better clarity.

DJI’s O3+ and 2T2R omnidirectional antennas are also here to ensure fast and high-quality video transmission.
You’d be manning the device using the DJI Motion Controller for a more intuitive flying experience. The controller also has an emergency brake button so it would stop instantly if you need it.

For the camera, the Avata is rigged with a 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor that sits behind a 155-degree ultra-wide lens.
It comes with HorizonSteady EIS, RockSteady 2.0 EIS, and can shoot 4K@60fps video with D-Cinelike color mode.
For the sensors, Avata has downward binocular vision and ToF infrared sensors for better safety. The said sensors can help detect the obstacles below so the drone can perform better in low-altitude scenarios or during indoor flights.
The drone then has a 2,420mAh Li-Ion battery that’s enough to provide up to an 18-minute flight time.

You can get the DJI Avata in the Philippines for a starting price of Php59,800. That’s for the Fly Smart Combo that comes with the FPV Goggles 2, Motion Controller, 1x flight battery, 3 pairs of propellers, power adapter, gimbal protector, Type-C to Type-C PD cable, screwdriver, 4x M2x7 screws, 1x battery and headband for the Goggles, Googles Power Adapter (Type-C), 4x dual-band antenna for the Goggles, USB-C to USB-A cable, OTG cable, and lanyard.
