World leader in power management, Eaton, revealed the latest addition to its portfolio of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) products—the 5A Advantage Series. It is designed to support consumers in their daily activities. Particularly, small office home office (SOHO) owners, creatives, entrepreneurs, and recreational gamers who require a reliable and affordable UPS solution.
Making live demonstrations as part of its launch, Eaton took to Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in Ortigas Center where it showcased the 5A Advantage Series UPS. Part of the event is also the announcement of its partnership with Innovista who will serve as the company’s official distributor of the UPS.
Coinciding with the launch of the 5A UPS, Eaton is making the products accessible to consumers through its official stores via Shopee and Lazada, with prices starting at Php2,199.
Eaton Vice President Jimmy Yam highlighted the problem posed by an unstable power supply while emphasizing the role of reliable power for both businesses and households.
Yam upholds Eaton’s “comprehensive product portfolio,” which he claims is designed as a “robust solution to minimize the impact of power supply disruptions.”
Eaton’s County Manager for the Philippines Howard Kung, meanwhile, raised the company’s decades-long experience in UPS technology that meets the growing market demand for dependable power supply and protection.
Kung specifically underscores the importance of their product to small businesses and individuals who are heavily dependent on technology to do work and leisure at home.
Further, he reiterates Eaton’s claim to effectively protect its consumers from power fluctuations and outages.
Based on reliable line-interactive technology, Eaton 5A Advantage Series UPS ensures that users have a seamless backup, including cold start capability. For securing data and equipment that are either lost or damaged through sudden power loss, the UPS has built-in automotive voltage regulation (AVR), circuit breaker protection, and surge protection.
