A new budget HONOR phone is coming as the company’s local arm has confirmed the launch date of the HONOR X6b in the Philippines.
The new HONOR X6b will be launching exclusively on the Shopee Super Shopping Day happening on September 9. The company will also hold a Facebook Live on the 6th to give more details about the device’s launch.
For a quick recap, the X6b was first introduced globally in June. It sports an extra large battery with a 5,200mAh capacity, with 35W charging. HONOR claims it can last for up to 26 hours of online video streaming, and 27 hours of social media browsing, and can be charged up to 20% in just 10 minutes.
HONOR also highlights its Magic Capsule feature that shows clever, interactable widgets around the punch-hole cutout when you’re playing music, running a timer, and more.
It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity G85 octa-core processor, with a 6.56-inch HD+ screen at 90Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera, and runs on the latest Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0.
We’ll have the official price and availability details possibly on the 6th or the 9th, so stay tuned for that.
