Ride-hailing service inDrive is finding a strong foothold in the Philippines. By the end of 2025, the country became a key growth market for the company in Southeast Asia.
The Philippines now represents a much larger portion of inDrive’s regional business than it did in 2024. Its share grew by 13%, one of the biggest gains in the region.
The number of rides completed through the inDrive app jumped 8x over the previous year. Similarly, passenger numbers grew by 7x. This expansion happened as inDrive became available in seven key locations, including Metro Manila, Cebu, Baguio, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, and Butuan.

Its driver community is also growing rapidly. By October of 2025, there are 16,000 active drivers using the platform. The inDrive’s goal is to reach 20,000 drivers soon. While Metro Manila is the busiest area, other cities are expected to drive future growth.
A major factor in this expansion is the inDrive’s policy of taking only a 10 percent commission from drivers. This is about half the rate charged by other major ride-hailing companies. This approach makes the app more attractive to drivers and often results in lower fares for passengers.
inDrive also confirmed it will launch services in two additional Philippine cities in 2026. The TNVS company is also exploring options for airport pickups and may start a package delivery service. A company representative stated, “The growth we have seen in 2025 has been very aggressive. The market wants more options, and that is what is driving our expansion in the Philippines.”
