Nokia’s latest revival, the classic 6310 from 20 years ago, is now available for purchase in the Philippines.
Revealed abroad back in July, the new Nokia 6310 2021 inherits the classic design of the original phone for 2001, but with a completely modern twist. For one, the keypads are now more streamlined and compact, and the clean colorways look like it really belongs in this era.
Like the other Nokia revivals, the goal here is to keep you connected while not being too distracted from notifications you don’t need — that means social media. Hence the lack of WiFi and 4G LTE. But, it does have 2G if you really have to check emails or Facebook messages.
What it is great for are calls and texting. It should feel nostalgic to type on actual tactile keys again. Plus, a feature that smartphones lack, a reliable battery that lasts for weeks.
The Nokia 6310 2021 is now available in Lazada for a price of Php2,490. If you’re in the market for resurrected Nokia classics, why not go with something that has a more interesting design. There’s the Nokia 8810 banana phone or the Nokia 2720 flip.
