We continue to feel the terrible effects of memory shortage in the industry, and things seem to be getting worse. This time, we’re reporting another price hike, and it involves the PlayStation again.
The PlayStation 5 Pro, the digital version with 2TB of storage, now has a whopping price of Php64,995 in the Philippines. That’s the current listing price on Data Blitz and Game On PH’s websites.

That’s an Php8,000 increase from its previous SRP of Php56,950.
If you’re curious, the PS5 Slim Digital Edition is currently listed for Php25,990, the PS5 Slim Disc Version for Php40,000, and the PS5 Slim with two DualSense Controllers for Php44,600.
While the standard model is cheaper and already great for some, the PS5 Pro offers extra power as it’s 45% faster, has PSSR upscaling, and has 2-3x faster ray tracing.
