The Redmi Note 17 series will finally debut in the global market on August 27.
Leading the charge is the Redmi Note 17 Max, and Xiaomi has shared key details about this upcoming device on its microsite.

The key highlight here is the enormous 10,000mAh battery, which is paired with a generous 100W HyperCharge adapter — an appropriate speed for a device with such a big battery.
Xiaomi was also generous enough to share the chipset it will be running on: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, with 12GB of RAM and +12GB virtual RAM expansion. They also promised a 72-month like-new software experience.

There’s also a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen on the front. Xiaomi also shared some durability certifications like the IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance rating and 3-meter drop resistance.

The Redmi Note 17 series will also come with one free screen replacement service within the first 24 months, one free battery replacement service within the first 36 months, one free back cover replacement within the first 24 months, a 3-month Spotify Premium trial, a 2-month YouTube Premium trial, a 6-month Google One with 200GB cloud storage, and a 24-month quality assurance.
