vivo Philippines has launched a new variant of the vivo Y17s with extra RAM capacity.
The vivo Y17s was first launched in the Philippines in October 2023 with a 4GB/128GB configuration. Now, a new version comes out with more RAM capacity of 6GB, but with the same generous 128GB of storage.
With more memory, expect to get better multitasking performance on this device. It will aid the device’s 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
The device also boasts a sharp 50-megapixel main camera with Night Algorithm, a large 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging, and even an IP54 dust and splash resistance for durability.
It also features a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, and a USB-C port.
From what it looks like, the 4GB/128GB model will be phased out as the vivo Y17s 6GB/128GB model will have the same price of Php6,999. It’s essentially a free upgrade for new buyers.
