PLDT Enterprise has teamed up with SpaceX’s Starlink to provide high-speed satellite internet in remote parts of the country. This makes PLDT the first and only telecommunications company in the Philippines authorized to resell Starlink’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite service.
The partnership aims to bridge the digital divide by bringing reliable internet to areas with limited or no connectivity. Starlink’s satellite technology is especially useful in rural and hard-to-reach locations where traditional broadband infrastructure is unavailable.
PLDT Enterprise has not yet announced specific pricing or availability details but confirmed that the service will cater to businesses, government agencies, and other organizations needing stable internet in underserved regions.

This move aligns with the Philippine government’s push to improve nationwide internet access, particularly in far-flung communities. With Starlink’s global satellite network, PLDT Enterprise aims to deliver faster and more consistent connectivity compared to conventional options.
No official launch date has been disclosed, but further updates are expected in the coming months.
