Apple has announced the much awaited small phone flagship, iPhone SE.

After numerous rumors about a small iPhone, Apple has finally unveiled the rightful successor to the 5S. A lot of people didn’t like the idea of Apple moving up in screen size, which made them stay on the aging 5S despite the release of 6 and 6S Plus. Now to cater the needs of these people, the company has released the iPhone SE.

The iPhone SE has the same internals as the 2015 iPhone 6S but on a smaller body. Standing at only 4-inches, it will be the smallest in Apple’s current line-up. What’s surprising about the device is that it has the same configuration as the latest iPhone flagship. It has the A9 processor, 2GB of RAM, 12-megapixel shooter, Apple Pay, LTE and 16GB of base internal storage. Under the hood is a first generation Touch ID which means it isn’t the fastest and exact same design of the 5S on the outside. For comparison, it’s said that the iPhone SE has twice the processing power and three times the graphics capability of the 5S.
