Insta360 just launched its latest mobile gimbal in the Philippines, the Insta360 Flow 2.
The new Insta360 Flow 2 is designed for on-the-go creators, solo travelers, or those who just want hands-free video calls during meetings or online classes. It has the latest Deep Track 4.0 with improved subject identification, even when obstructed. Plus, group tracking of been added.
It has a robust 3-axis stabilization and a compact design you can easily fold and fit in your pocket. We also have retractable tripod feet and a built-in selfie stick (8.2 inches). Your phone attaches to the gimbal via the magnetic phone clamp.
NFC One-Tap Shooting lets you quickly use the device on select phones without the annoying Bluetooth pairing process. Those using Android phones can also enjoy its Quick Launch features that instantly open the native camera app when the gimbal is unfolded.
The Pro Framing Grid utilizes the golden ratio tech so you can quickly use nine angle presets. With just a tap, the Flow 2 will intelligently adjust the framing. You can also control the Flow 2 using an Apple Watch or a separate phone for remote shooting.
Sadly, it lacks a few features that the Flow 2 Pro has. The Selfie Mirror is gone, as well as the Tracking Ring Light, transparent motor design, Apple DockKit Native Tracking, and Free Tilt Mode.
For the battery, Insta360 claims the 1,100mAh capacity lasts for up to 10 hours and charges via USB-C for 2 hours. Bluetooth 5.0 handles connectivity to your phone.
Insta360 has also introduced Mic Air, a hands-free wireless microphone. You can pair it with the app’s Teleprompter feature.
There’s also the new AI Tracker with a built-in spotlight for those who plan to use third-party apps. It works like the Multifunctional Module on the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P.
The Insta360 Flow 2 Standard Bundle has a price of Php5,490 in the Philippines, while the AI Tracker Bundle retails for Php6,590. It comes in two colorways: Summit White and Stone Gray. You can get it at Insta360’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
