TECNO just launched its newest entry-level lineup with Spark 40 Pro+ and Spark 40 Pro. Both devices come with improved processors, better displays, and faster charging.
TECNO Spark 40 Pro+
The TECNO Spark 40 Pro+ is the first device in the world to sport the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, along with 8GB of RAM and an option between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of software, it uses HiOS 15.1 based on Android 15.
The phone also features an improved 6.78 curved 1.5K ultra-bright AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. There is also an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 13-megapixel front camera. At the back is its 50-megapixel shooter.
Another key segment of the Spark 40 Pro+ is its 30W fast wireless charging a 45W wired charging. It also has a 5,200mAh battery capacity and an IP64 water and dust resistance.
TECNO Spark 40 Pro
Unlike the Pro+ variant, the TECNO Spark 40 Pro comes in a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display but maintains a 144Hz refresh rate similar to the more expensive variant.
Moreover, it sports a toned-down MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128/256GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, the Pro version is similar to Spark 40 Pro+ with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. It also has IP64 water and dust resistant certification.
Just like the Pro+, the Spark 40 Pro features a 45W wired charging and impressive 35W fast wireless charging.
Pricing and availability
The TECNO Spark 40 Pro+ is available in black, white, titanium, and green colorways. It retails in Uganda for UGX 769,000 (~Php12,000).
Meanwhile, the TECNO Spark 40 Pro comes in blue, green, titanium, and black colors. It has a selling price of UGX 679,000 (~P10,600).
No word yet if the said devices will be available in the Philippines.
