Electric vehicle owners in the Philippines who choose a VinFast model are in for a significant perk: free charging for the next two years. The automaker’s local division has launched a new program that removes the cost of charging its vehicles at stations across the nation.
The initiative, made possible through a deal with charging network operator V-GREEN, will be available to all VinFast customers for FREE until May 1, 2027. This benefit is valid for every VinFast electric car sold, whether purchased today or in the future.
Company officials say the move directly tackles a common concern for potential EV buyers: the expense of public charging. By eliminating that cost, VinFast hopes to make electric cars a more attractive and financially sensible option compared to traditional gasoline-powered vehicles, especially with the current instability of fuel prices.

To support the offer, V-GREEN has plans to greatly expand its infrastructure. The company is aiming to set up 15,000 new charging ports around the Philippines. These will be placed in convenient public spots like shopping centers, major highways, and business areas located on the islands of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Access to free charging at these locations will be reserved exclusively for VinFast owners.
The VinFast free charging program is not the only support the carmaker is providing. VinFast is also backing its vehicles with a strong warranty that lasts for up to 10 years or 200,000 kilometers, covering both the entire car and its battery. The company is also establishing a network of service centers and showrooms throughout the Philippines.
