Without much fanfare, Xiaomi Philippines has introduced one of the most interesting smartphones in the entry-level market, the Redmi 15 5G.
The Redmi 15 5G gets its connectivity from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, with 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage.
What’s really impressive is the large 7,000mAh battery that Xiaomi claims can last for up to 2 days of usage. It is paired with an 18W reverse charging so you can help power other devices and accessories. The device charges via a 33W adapter.
A large 6.9-inch FHD+ screen on the front offers up to a whopping 144Hz refresh rate, 288Hz touch sampling, and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly certification.
It ships with Android 15-based HyperOS 2 and has IP64 dust and water resistance.
A sharp 50-megapixel main camera is on the back, while the front has an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies.
The Redmi 15 5G is available at online stores for Php7,999. You can also get it through Globe Postpaid Plan 999 with a one-time cashout of Php400 or through Smart Postpaid Plan 999 by the second week of October.
