The realme 15x has been unveiled to join the growing realme 15 series.
Powering the realme 15x is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, with up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of expandable storage.
A highlight feature is the large 7,000mAh battery realme claims can last for up to two days of heavy usage on a single charge. It can apparently last for up to 23 hours of watching YouTube or 11.7 hours of video calls.
It’s been aptly paired with a 60W charger that already provides 13 hours of Spotify listening with just a 5-minute charge. 6.5W reverse wired charging and bypass charging are also supported.
realme also said that the battery health can last for up to 6 years of 1,600 charge cycles.
The company also highlighted its “IP69 Pro” dust and water resistance, a term we haven’t heard before. The webpage shows a comparison with the standard IP69 rating, to which the Pro seems to be actually more impressive.
It also has a Military-Grade Shock Resistance and can survive drops from a maximum height of 2 meters. The screen can also be used even with oily or wet hands with its Smart Touch feature.
Speaking of, we have a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS display with a high 144Hz refresh rate and 1200-nit peak brightness. A sharp 50-megapixel selfie camera is on top, while the rear has a 50-megapixel lens and one unknown accomplice.
The realme 15s is now in India with a starting price of INR16,999 (~Php11,100).
