ASUS Republic of Gamers has launched the new ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X in the Philippines.
The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X were designed alongside the team at Xbox to offer “best-in-class ergonomics and a full-screen Xbox experience.” This Windows 11 machine is paired with the ROG Armoury Crate SE for an experience specifically tailored for gamers.
For the ROG Xbox Ally, you’re getting an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 A processor, with 16GB RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 60Wh battery.
Meanwhile, the Xbox Ally X boasts a more powerful Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, with higher 24GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a bigger 80Wh battery. It also has a beefier and more versatile USB-C 4 port.
The ROG Ally X also has impulse triggers that improve haptics in select games. Both models have all the triggers and buttons in the right places. They sandwiched the 7-inch FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and support FreeSync Premium.
There’s the Automatic Super Resolution (Auto SR) feature that uses the NPU to upscale games running on a lower resolution. Highlight Reels also uses AI to cut highlight gameplay moments.
The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X retails for Php56,995 while the Xbox Ally comes in at Php36,995. They come with a free Game Pass Subscription and an ASUS Standard Warranty. The first 100 pre-orders will come with a free ROG Xbox Ally 2-in-1 Premium Case worth Php2,995.
