Apple has also updated the iPad Pro with an M5 silicone chip.
The company has also updated the MacBook Pro and Vision Pro to the new chip. For the iPad Pro M5, you’re getting a CPU with up to four performance cores, six efficiency cores, and better AI computation, while maintaining an all-day battery life.
As per Apple, it is 6.7x faster than the M1 in terms of ray-tracing rendering, 6.0x faster in video transcoding, and 3.7x better in AI video upscaling. AI image generation is also 4x faster.
What’s more, the new iPad Pro now comes with an Apple C1X modem for the cellular models. The rest of the specs are the same. Oh, and you can get the 1TB and 2TB models now with a nano-texture glass.
Availability of the iPad Pro M5 in the Philippines is yet to be known. But, you can now check its MSRP from the Apple website below, which is unchanged from the M4.
