nubia’s latest flagship phones have been announced in China. We’ll first look at the fanciest of the two, the RedMagic 11 Pro Plus.
Like the non-Plus model, the RedMagic 11 Pro Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with an active cooling fan, liquid metal vapor chamber, and a pulsating water cooling engine that’s exclusive to the Plus.
The duo also shares the same 6.85-inch X10 AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Both the selfie camera and fingerprint scanner are underneath the display.
They also have the same 50-megapixel main and ultra-wide cameras. Plus, a dedicated touch chip that increases the touch sampling rate to 3,000Hz. There are also 520Hz shoulder triggers for gaming.
Their key difference is in the battery. The 11 Pro Plus has a faster 120W wired charging and has support for 80W wireless, but has a smaller 7,500mAh battery.
The non-Plus model has a bigger 8,000mAh battery, but settles for an 80W adapter. Oh, and only the Plus will get the Transparent Silver Wing and Transparent Dark Knight colorways with LED lighting.
Those who are in China can get the RedMagic 11 Pro Plus with a starting price of CNY5,699 (~Php46,500), that’s for the 12GB/256GB model. nubia is yet to share any global release details.
