Midea — yes, the same brand popular for its home appliances products here in the Philippines — has introduced its latest humanoid robot in China called Miro U.
The Midea Miro U has wheels, a head, and six bionic mechanical arms that offer high-precision control and fast-switching end-effector modules for handling different tasks. This machine is made for factory and industrial use.

Like other Midea robots, it will soon work with single-arm four-wheel bots, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), Kuka robot systems, and actual human laborers.
Midea’s 3rd-gen humanoid robot can do vertical lifting and 360-degree rotation. The company aims to deploy the robot at its high-end washing machine factory, which is expected to improve efficiency by up to 30%.
Moreover, Midea is in the final testing phase of its Mila series of robots, which are aimed towards commercial and residential customers. They are expected to arrive in 2026.
