Another day, another newly-released “Air” smartphone. This time, we have one from nubia, the RedMagic 11 Air.
Apart from being relatively thin and light, the RedMagic 11 Air is far different from the iPhone Air and the many “Air” phones that came from the Android camp. True to its identity, this RedMagic device is made for gamers, from its design to its specs.
The device has the brand’s signature gaming design with a transparent option. Shoulder triggers are also here.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM that boasts 9,600Mb/s speeds and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage that goes up to 4,200Mb/s.
Like its cousins, it has an active spinning fan that goes up to 24,000rpm to keep the chipset cool.
Another big feature is the 7,000mAh battery, paired with 120W wired charging. There’s a 6.85-inch 2.5K AMOLED screen with a high 144Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and the 16-megapixel selfie camera behind the display.
On the back, we have a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide.
It ships with Android 16-based RedMagic OS 11.0.
The RedMagic 11 Air 12GB/256GB has a price of CNY3,499 (~Php29,600), while the 16GB/512GB comes in at CNY4,199 (~Php35.600). International release details were not confirmed.
