Disney+ is rolling out a new feature that’s “a whole new way to discover stories.”
Called Verts, this TikTok-like feature can be found within the Disney+ app and is “the first phase” of bringing vertical video content to the platform. It shows short-form vertically swipable videos for a more familiar way to discover content.
You can easily access the new feature by tapping the Verts icon on the Disney+ app. From here, you’re shown content suggestions in vertical video format based on an advanced algorithm to ensure that “Verts feels uniquely relevant and personalized to each individual user.”
In its press release, Disney says that, over time, Verts will be able to “add content from creators that reflects our fandoms, plus other storytelling formats, content types, and personalized experiences.”
