Xiaomi’s POCO sub-brand just launched its most spec-ed out smartphone to date, the POCO X8 Pro Max.
The POCO X8 Pro Max boasts an enormous 8,500mAh battery, which POCO claims can easily provide a 2-day battery life — really impressive for a flagship smartphone. Despite this, the device remains relatively thin and light.
What’s more, the battery can retain at least 80 percent of its battery health even after 1,600 cycles, or around six years of regular use. That battery is so enormous that you can use it to charge other phones with its 27W reverse charging feature.
The device itself supports 100W HyperCharge technology, albeit the retail box sadly doesn’t come with a charger.
Moving on, the X8 Pro Max comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, easily one of the most powerful chips out today. POCO claims it got an AnTuTu score of 3 million. This 3nm chip has all big cores and a clock speed of up to 3.73GHz.
It is paired with 12GB of fast LPDDR5X and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The chipset is attached to the POCO 3D IceLoop Cooling System that has a large 5,800mm2 cooling area.
The X8 Pro Max boasts a big 6.83-inch AMOLED display, complete with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support and 3500-nits of peak brightness. Audio is provided by the 115F symmetrical speakers with Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos support.
It then has a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 600 main camera on the back, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 20-megapixel on the front for selfies. Oh, and there’s dynamic RGB lighting on the bezels of the rear camera for notifications, charging, music, and more.
The POCO X8 Pro Max has an SRP of Php25,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant and Php27,999 for the 12GB/512GB. From March 17-26, you can get them exclusively at Shopee for only Php18,999 and Php20,749, respectively, with an additional Php500 discount.
