OPPO’s new foldable is here. Just like its predecessors, the OPPO Find N6 will revolutionize foldable phones.
The OPPO Find N6 is said to offer a “zero-feel crease”, addressing the long-standing issue of foldable phones. It used laser scanning, 3D liquid printing, polymer droplets, and layer-by-layer UV-curing to reduce hinge unevenness that causes creasing.
What’s more, the “auto-smoothing Flex Glass” layer is now 50% thicker, offers 100% improved shape recovery, and is now 338% more resistant against deformation.
Basically, what this all means is that the screen will almost have zero crease, even in the years to come. It has received a TUV Rheinland Certification for staying flat even after 600,000 folds.
Durability was also improved after it received an IP56/58/59 dust and water resistance rating.
That foldable screen uses an 8.12-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 2.5K resolution. Another 6.62-inch LTPO panel acts as the cover screen.
Moving on, the Find N6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Keeping the lights on is a large 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
We then have a 200-megapixel HP5 sensor from Samsung, paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto, and an upgraded ultra-wide lens with a 50-megapixel sensor. Both displays have their own 20-megapixel selfie cameras.
The OPPO Find N6 has a starting price of INR126,500 (~Php81,500) in India. Release details in the Philippines are still unknown.
